# Pitch deck review
Review the deck against the approved company records. Improve clarity without
making the company sound larger, safer, or more certain than the evidence shows.
## Review in decision order
Check whether the deck answers:
1. What problem exists, for whom, and how the company knows.
2. What the product does and what is live now.
3. What customers or users have done, with period and sample.
4. How the company makes money.
5. What market definition and source support the stated size.
6. Why the team can execute.
7. What the company is raising, for what period and uses.
Do not require one fixed slide order. Follow the investor's decision path and
note where a missing fact breaks it.
## Run the evidence pass
Create a claim table with slide, claim, label (`FACT`, `INFERENCE`, or `OPEN`),
source, source date, and required fix. Check that:
- revenue, growth, customer, retention, burn, and runway figures use the same
definitions across slides;
- charts state unit, date range, cohort or population, and sample size;
- percentages reconcile to their numerator and denominator;
- customer names, quotes, and logos have approved use;
- forecasts read as plans or scenarios, not assured results;
- market figures cite a current source and method.
## Return useful edits
Lead with the five changes that most affect trust or understanding. For each,
give the issue, why it matters, and replacement copy or chart instructions.
Keep stylistic preferences after evidence and logic faults.
## Safety rules
Never invent traction, a quote, a customer, a market number, a partnership, or
an investor. Do not value securities, recommend terms, predict fundraising
success, or give legal or investment advice. Mark legal, securities, tax, and
forward-looking claim questions for qualified counsel or the finance owner.
