TERMS.

By creating an account, installing the mdskill CLI, or accessing any part of the MDSkill Directory platform, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be legally bound by them.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MDSkill Directory (“we”, “us”, “our”). If you are using the service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.

MDSkill Directory is a platform for discovering, indexing, and distributing AI agent skill files (.md context files). The service includes:

• A public web directory of community-contributed skills
• The mdskill command-line interface (CLI) for installing and managing skills
• Security audit scores and metadata for indexed skills
• A premium subscription tier with access to expert-curated private skill packs

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time with reasonable notice.

Some features require a registered account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and API tokens
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use at contact@mdskill.dev

We use Google OAuth for authentication. We do not store your password. Account access is linked to your Google identity.

The mdskill CLI is provided under an open licence. When you install and use the CLI:

• Anonymous telemetry records which skills are installed (no personal data)
• You may opt out of telemetry by setting MDSKILL_NO_TELEMETRY=1
• API tokens are stored locally in ~/.mdskill/config.json — keep this file secure
• You must not use the CLI to circumvent access controls or download skills you are not entitled to

Skills indexed by MDSkill Directory must not:

• Contain malicious instructions designed to manipulate AI agents harmfully
• Include secret credentials, API keys, or personal data
• Facilitate illegal activity or violate third-party intellectual property rights
• Impersonate other publishers or organisations

We run automated security audits on all indexed skills. We reserve the right to remove any skill from the directory without notice if it violates this policy.

Premium subscriptions are billed through LemonSqueezy, our payment processor. By subscribing:

• You authorise recurring charges at the rate displayed at checkout
• You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period
• Refunds are issued at our discretion for unused periods — contact contact@mdskill.dev
• Prices may change with 30 days' notice to your registered email

The MDSkill platform, branding, and curated premium skill packs are our intellectual property. Individual community skill files remain the property of their respective authors under the licences they publish them with.

By submitting a skill to the public directory, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to index, display, and distribute it through the platform.

Always review skill contents before deploying in production or sensitive environments. Security audit scores reflect automated checks at a point in time and are not a guarantee of safety.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. Upon termination, your API tokens are invalidated and subscription access ends at the current billing period.

We will notify you of material changes by email and by posting a notice on the platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
