# Markdown Skill
Reads a Markdown or plain text file and returns its content verbatim.
## Setup
No external dependencies — uses only the Python standard library.
## Standalone usage
```python
import asyncio
from synthadoc.skills.markdown.scripts.main import MarkdownSkill
skill = MarkdownSkill()
async def main():
result = await skill.extract("/path/to/notes.md")
print(result.text) # file contents verbatim
